Pacaya Volcano & Kawilal Hot Springs Tour

Join us for an experience climbing Pacaya, one of Guatemala's most active volcanoes, and relax at the Kawilal Hot Springs.

Tour Details

Pickup at your hotel will occur at the designated time for a bus journey to Pacaya National Park, approximately 1.5 hours away.

Upon arriving in San Vicente de Pacaya, we will begin our walking route to the base of the Pacaya Volcano. The ascent of the volcano will take us to within 50 meters (165 feet) of the lava-filled crater, where you will have free time for lunch.

Following the climb, we will descend the volcano and proceed to the Kawilal hot springs. Here, you can enjoy a thermal water circuit in the Kawilal complex, featuring 12 thermal pools, 25 steam baths, and three hydrotherapy baths.

This 10 to 12-hour tour will conclude with a return to the meeting point.
