Pacaya Volcano & Kawilal Hot Springs Tour

Join us for an experience as we climb Pacaya, one of Guatemala's active volcanoes, and visit the Kawilal Hot Springs.

Tour Highlights

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the designated time and travel by bus to Pacaya National Park, approximately one and a half hours away.

Upon reaching San Vicente de Pacaya, our walking route begins, leading us to the base of the volcano. Here, we will start our ascent of the volcano.

We'll climb the slope until we are just 50 meters (165 feet) from Pacaya's lava-filled crater. During this visit, we will have a lunch consisting of a sandwich and a drink.

After descending, we will proceed to the Kawilal hot springs. Upon arrival, unwind in a thermal water circuit featuring 12 thermal pools, 25 steam baths, and three hydrotherapy baths.

This tour lasts between 10 to 12 hours, concluding with a return to the meeting point.
