Embark on a unique journey to visit an aloe vera farm in Fuerteventura, where you will have the opportunity to explore diverse landscapes, interact with local animals such as donkeys and sheep, and even create your own aloe vera cream to take home!

Experience Overview

We will convene at the entrance of Verdeaurora Bio Farm, an organic family-owned aloe vera estate located on the outskirts of Antigua. Here, you will discover the fascinating aspects of one of the Canary Islands' most notable plants.

Our experience will begin with an introduction to the rescue animals at Verdeaurora. Many of these animals have been saved or adopted, including the Majorero donkeys, a breed that holds significant cultural importance in Fuerteventura, which you will have the chance to feed.

We will then proceed on a guided tour through the fruit orchards and aloe vera fields. Strolling through the permaculture garden, you will explore a tropical fruit forest before arriving at the aloe vera plantation, showcasing this iconic species of the region.

After this immersive exploration, you will learn the proper techniques for cutting and using an aloe vera leaf. You’ll also savor a delightful tapa featuring goat cheese, artisan bread, estate-grown olive oil (Picual and Arbequina), complemented by a glass of Canarian wine.

The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours, after which our visit will come to a close.

Tour + Premium Tasting

If you opt for this enhanced experience, you will be treated to a curated selection of local delicacies, which includes tomatoes seasoned with organic extra virgin olive oil, toast topped with homemade sun-dried tomato pâté blended with almonds and basil, artisan goat cheese, freshly prepared gofio, artisan bread, and a glass of Canarian wine. Additionally, you’ll enjoy papas arrugadas (wrinkled potatoes) served with a traditional homemade mojo sauce crafted from a family recipe.

Please be aware that the offerings for both the tapas and premium tasting may change based on seasonal availability.
