On this tour of the island of Antigua departing from Saint John, we'll explore the history and attractions of Antigua and Barbuda's most populated island.

Antigua Island Tour

We'll meet at 9 am at Heritage Quay in Saint John and set off on our tour.

First, we will visit the historic sugar mills, where ancient presses were used for grinding sugar cane and producing distilled alcoholic beverages such as rum.

Next, we will travel to the south coast of Antigua to visit Nelson's Dockyard, a cultural heritage site located in English Harbour, significant for the geopolitical interests of the United Kingdom in the West Indies.

After visiting the harbor and its museum, we will have a break at a local restaurant for delicious lunch, with a selection of daily specials.

After lunch, we will head to the Shirley Heights lookout point for spectacular views of all of Antigua.

Finally, we will conclude our tour by returning to the meeting point around 2:30 pm.
