How well do you know the western coast of Fuerteventura? On this trip to the Cuevas de Ajuy, we'll enjoy a magical sunset over the coastline's most famous caves. It also includes a delicious tapas dinner with views of the sea!
Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the east of Fuerteventura before proceeding to the western coast. After a 45-minute drive, we'll arrive at Arco del Jurado. We will begin a easy 4-kilometre (2.5-mile) hike through the Canary Islands' oldest geological space, with underwater lava formations created over 150 million years ago.
We will take a break to enjoy an energy bar, some fruit, and water before reaching the Natural Monument of the Cuevas de Ajuy, featuring black volcanic sand beaches, impressive sea caves, and natural arches.
We will witness the Cuevas de Ajuy at dusk, observing the sunset casting orange and scarlet hues over the sea caves.
After the sunset, we will head to a local restaurant for a dinner with views of the sea, including a tapas menu and a drink. We will return to your hotel after a total of 5-6 hours.
