Private Tour of Petra

You'll be picked up from your hotel at 8 am, and from there you'll make your way to Petra, the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom and one of the treasures of Jordan.

You'll take a horseback ride through the Siq, the main entrance to Petra, a dim, narrow gorge approximately 0.75 miles long (1.2 kilometres) that reaches a width of 10 feet (3 metres) at some points. Upon exiting, you'll see why this is considered one of the Wonders of the World.

The first building you'll see is the detailed ruin, Al Khazneh (the Treasury), over 131 feet tall (40 metres), built in the 1st century BC. You will also see the Theatre and numerous tombs.

After visiting the rock city, you'll return to Aqaba at 4 pm and be dropped at your hotel.
