Private Tour of Petra

You'll be picked up from your hotel at 8 am, and make your way to Petra, the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom and one of the treasures of Jordan.

You'll take a horseback ride through the Siq, the main entrance to Petra, a dim, narrow gorge that is approximately 0.75 miles long (1.2 kilometres) and varies in width, reaching a minimum of 10 feet (3 metres). This passageway leads you to Petra’s iconic sights.

The first building you'll encounter is Al Khazneh, also known as the Treasury, which stands over 131 feet tall (40 metres) and dates back to the 1st century BC. Other notable sites include the Theatre and various tombs.

After exploring this remarkable rock city, you'll return to Aqaba at 4 pm, with drop-off at your hotel.
