On this visit to the Araucária Winery, we will explore one of the most famous wineries in São José dos Pinhais and enjoy a wine and cheese tasting.

Araucária Winery Tour

At your chosen time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Curitiba for a drive to São José dos Pinhais. The drive will take approximately 40 minutes until we reach Vinícola Araucária.

Upon arrival, we will commence a two-hour guided tour of the winery. This tour will provide insights into the winemaking process, covering everything from harvesting to bottling. Our guide will explain the beverages produced, utilizing French and Italian grapes, as we walk through the vineyards, the barrel room, the fermentation area, and other facilities.

Following the tour, we will proceed to the tasting area to sample the winery's products under the guidance of an oenologist. We will focus on distinguishing the nuances of three different wines while also enjoying the rich cheese of the region, enhancing our tasting experience.

After the tasting session, there will be an opportunity to visit the winery shop for those interested in purchasing a bottle of wine as a souvenir.

We will conclude the excursion after four hours of activity by returning you to your hotel.
