Castro & Guartelá Canyon Tour

At 7 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Curitiba for a trip to the Guartelá State Park, which takes approximately two and a half hours by minibus.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a 5-kilometre (3.1 miles) hiking route to explore the Guartelá Canyon, the largest canyon in Brazil and the sixth largest in the world. This hike lasts about two and a half hours and offers stunning views of the canyon, which is 30 kilometres (18.6 miles) long. Participants may also spot local wildlife, including the king vulture and various parakeets.

During the hike, there will be opportunities to visit waterfalls where you may swim if desired.

After the hike, we'll head to the town of Castro for a buffet lunch. Following lunch, we will take a panoramic tour of Castro to view its main monuments, such as the lake park, the church, and the Morro do Cristo.

Before returning to Curitiba, we will visit the Tropero de Castro Museum, which focuses on the traditional occupation dating back to the 16th century.

The tour concludes at 7 pm when we will drop you off at your hotel in Curitiba.
