On this tour to Lapa we'll travel back to the 19th century to learn about the town's past. We'll also visit Monge State Park.

Lapa & Monge State Park Tour

At 8 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Curitiba and drive southwest to the town of Lapa.

After an hour and a half drive, we'll start a guided tour of the historic centre of Lapa, visiting emblematic places such as the parish church of San Antonio and the Ney Braga memorial. We'll explore the history of the town, including the conflict between the 'Woodpeckers' and 'Maragatos' during the siege of Lapa in 1894.

During the tour, we will visit the Arms Museum, the São João Theatre, and the Lacerda House to learn about life in a 19th-century Paraná family home.

We'll take a break to enjoy lunch with local delicacies such as pork rinds and tropeiro.

After lunch, we'll head to Monge State Park, where we will admire lush vegetation and explore caves and deep canyons. This area is linked to a monk named João Maria, who is attributed with several miracles.

We'll conclude the tour with a drop-off at your hotel between 5 pm and 5:30 pm.
