Lush vegetation and gigantic rock formations are the highlights of this tour to Vila Velha Park. We'll explore this natural site and enjoy a typical German meal in the village of Colônia Witmarsum.

After picking you up at your hotel in Curitiba at 7 am, we'll drive to Vila Velha State Park, located just outside the city of Ponta Grossa. The minibus ride will take about an hour and a half.

Once at our destination, we'll start touring this natural place declared Historical and Artistic Heritage of the State of Paraná. We'll combine trips on board the minibus with others on foot to explore the park.

During the tour through the Vila Velha Park, we'll see the sandstones, huge rock formations created 300 million years ago. Visitors may spot figures such as a camel, a cup, or a turtle within these formations. We'll also view the 'furnas', underground lakes or aquifers surrounded by lush vegetation. You'll have the opportunity for numerous photos and visit the Golden Lagoon, which reaches 12 meters (39 feet) deep. The area showcases various ecosystems, from araucaria forests to grasslands and savannahs.

After the visit to Vila Velha Park, we'll proceed to Colônia Witmarsum, known for the production of cheese, sausages, and cookies, where we'll enjoy a typical Germanic dish for lunch. Following this, we'll return to Curitiba, completing the excursion by 1 pm and dropping you off at your hotel.
