Costa Verde Hiking Route

We will meet at the Parcheggio Capo Pecora car park for a hiking route along Sardinia's Costa Verde, featuring stunning landscapes of turquoise waters and sand dunes. The hike will last approximately 4 hours at a leisurely pace, allowing exploration of coastal areas, cliffs, and white pebble coves, culminating at a watchtower with panoramic sea views.

During the hike, we'll observe various species of Mediterranean flora, including mastic trees, rockrose, olive trees, helichrysum, and tamarisk. The route will also pass by Spiaggia delle Uova beach, offering views of the coastline between Buggerru and Piscinas.

Participants will learn about the remains of ancient fortifications, the Domus de Janas, and the Tombs of Giants. The tour includes insights into the history of Sardinian banditry. At the end of the hike, we will offer a small aperitif featuring Sardinian products such as cold meats, cheeses, and a glass of wine.

The hiking route concludes with a return to the starting point.
