Peneda-Gerês National Park River Walk

At 10 am, we will meet at Avenida 25 de Abril de Soajo. Participants will don wetsuits and water trekking boots.

After preparation, we will journey to Peneda-Gerês, the only National Park in Portugal. This area is notable for its biodiversity and serves as a habitat for local species such as the garrano horse.

During the water trekking route, we will cross various rivers and natural pools, highlighting the Adrão River, where bathing in its crystalline waters is possible. Additional opportunities to swim in natural pools will also be provided.

Midway through our trek, we will pause to taste some Portuguese products, enjoying traditional wines and meats amidst nature. The adventure will continue as we explore more wild rivers in Peneda-Gerês.

The tour will conclude with a return to Soajo by minibus, arriving at the starting point around 2:30 pm.
