2-Day Trip to Colca Canyon

Get to know one of the deepest canyons in the world on this 2-day trip to Colca Canyon. This tour offers a combination of nature, culture, and adventure. The trip concludes in Cusco for further exploration of Peru.

Trip Details

Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa and start our journey to Colca Canyon. After a breakfast stop, we will continue to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, arriving 6 hours after pickup to view the canyon and possibly spot condors.

Next, we will visit charming villages and impressive viewpoints, including Antahuilque and Choquetico, to see Pre-Incan tombs and the landscape. In Maca, we will interact with locals and learn about their traditions.

Before reaching Chivay, we will relax for 30 minutes in the hot springs of Chacapi. By noon, we will arrive at Chivay, where you can enjoy free time in the afternoon and evening for local cuisine, adventure activities, and rest.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will head to the upper part of Colca Canyon, stopping at the villages of Tuti and Sibayo and visiting Callalli's castles.

We will travel along the Condroma Dam and continue to the Yauri Stone Forest and Langui Lake. We will stop for 50 minutes in Sicuani for lunch before proceeding to Cusco, passing through Andahuaylillas and Urcos.

Finally, we will arrive in Cusco and conclude the tour in the historical centre.

This tour includes 1 overnight stay with an included breakfast at Pandora Hostel (2 stars) or a similar location.

Trip Schedule

Pick up is scheduled for 2:30 am on the first day, with drop-off in Cusco between 4 pm and 4:30 pm on the second day.
