2-Day Trip to Colca Canyon

Get to know one of the deepest canyons in the world on this 2-day trip to Colca Canyon. From flying condors to charming local villages, this tour offers a perfect combination of nature, culture, and adventure. Additionally, we'll conclude the trip in Cusco so you can continue exploring Peru.

Trip Details

Day 1

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa and begin our journey to the majestic Colca Canyon.

Halfway, we'll have breakfast before continuing to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, arriving 6 hours after pickup to admire the canyon and possibly spot some condors.

We will then return to the minibus for stops at charming villages and observation points, including the Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints, where we’ll see Pre-Incan tombs. In Maca, we will stop to interact with locals.

Our last stop will be the hot springs of Chacapi for a 30-minute relaxation session. Around noon, we'll reach Chivay and check into accommodation near the main square, followed by free time to explore, enjoy adventure activities, and local cuisine.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll head to the upper part of Colca Canyon, passing through Tuti and Sibayo, stopping to admire Callalli's castles.

We'll continue along the Condroma Dam and then visit the Yauri Stone Forest, followed by the majestic Langui Lake.

We will also stop for 50 minutes in Sicuani for lunch before traveling for 3 hours towards Cusco, passing through Andahuaylillas and Urcos.

Finally, we'll reach Cusco and conclude our trip in the historical centre.

This tour includes 1 overnight stay with breakfast at Pandora Hostel (2 stars) or similar.

Trip Schedule

Please be aware that pickup on the first day is at 2:30 am, with drop-off in Cusco between 4 pm and 4:30 pm on the second day.
