Arequipa & Viewpoints Tour
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arequipa at 9 am. From there, we will visit some of the most stunning observation points in the White City, including Yanahuara, Carmen Alto, and Sachaca. Here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy remarkable panoramic views of Arequipa alongside its three iconic volcanoes: Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu.
Following our viewpoint exploration, we will navigate to the charming district of Cayma, famous for its vibrant picantería venues specializing in spicy dishes. A leisurely walk through the narrow lanes of Cayma allows us to appreciate its 17th-century church, a testament to the city's historical architecture.
Next, we will proceed to the historic center, where the neoclassical beauty of the Cathedral of Arequipa awaits. As we admire its façade, your guide will share insights about its construction, notably its use of ashlar stone.
The tour will then transition towards the bustling traditional markets of San Camilo and Fundo el Fierro, known for their array of authentic handicrafts.
We will conclude our tour by 1 pm, returning you to your hotel in Arequipa or dropping you off at a location of your preference within the city.
