Colca Canyon Trek: 2 or 3 Days from Arequipa

Day 1: Arequipa – Cruz del Cóndor – Oasis de Sangalle

At 3 am, pick-up from your hotel in Arequipa and transfer to Chivay for breakfast. Visit the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint for views of Colca Canyon. Start trekking from Pampa San Miguel, enjoying panoramic views, waterfalls, and hanging bridges. Lunch at a family home in San Juan de Chuccho. Continue to the Sangalle Oasis for swimming and bonfires. Overnight at the oasis.

Day 2: Cabanaconde – Chivay – Arequipa

Early start at 5 am to travel to Cabanaconde for breakfast. Proceed to Chivay, passing the natural viewpoint of Antahuilque and the village of Maca. Around 11:30 am, enjoy hot springs in Yanque. Lunch in Chivay, followed by a visit to the viewpoint of the Andes for views of Hualca Hualca, Sabanaya, and Ampato. Return to Arequipa by 5:30 pm.

3-day trek in Colca Canyon

When booking, choose a 3-day trek for more exploration in the Colca Valley. Visit Cosñirhua and Malata, the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, and participate in a fishing tour on the Colca River.
