Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa to begin our journey to Misti Volcano. After approximately 1.5 hours of travel by offroad vehicle along the slopes of this active volcano, we will arrive at the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve and start our hike from 3400 metres (7874 feet) in altitude.

We'll hike for approximately 1.5 hours to reach 3800 metres (12467 feet). The path includes Andean shrubs, canyons, and queñual forests. At the highest point, you'll have views of Arequipa and Pichu Pichu Mountain.

Here, you’ll have between 30 minutes and 1 hour of free time depending on the group's pace, to take photos, rest, and eat. Please bring food.

After descending for 1.5 hours, we'll return to the vehicle for the trip back to Arequipa and conclude the tour in the city center after a total of 6 hours.

Hike Schedules

When booking, you can choose to hike in the morning or afternoon. The afternoon option allows for sunset views over the Arequipa Valley.

Please note that hotel pickup services are included for those staying in the centre of Arequipa. If your hotel is outside this area, we will contact you after booking to provide an alternative meeting point.
