Loncco Route Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa at 6:30 am and start the Loncco Route. You will see natural landscapes and lesser-known places in Peru. The tour begins in Quequeña to visit the Martyrs' Museum and the petroglyphs of Guayalopo and Curlaca, which are over 1500 years old.

We will explain the significance of Loncco, a traditional character from Arequipa. Next, we proceed to the Soncomarca Hill viewpoint for views of the Arequipa terraces and the church of Quequeña. Continuing on the Loncco Route, we visit Sogay, known for its palm-filled square and ashlar houses overlooking the Yarabamba River.

We then arrive at the Uzuña lagoon in Polobaya, where you can engage in activities like boating, kayaking, or sport fishing, followed by free time for lunch.

The next stop is Mollebaya, where we explore its historical center and the communal batán. We will also visit Characato to see its square and church with water springs.

We will proceed to Sabandía to view its church of the Virgen del Rosario and a 17th-century mill made of ashlar stone.

The tour concludes in Arequipa around 5 pm near the Plaza de Armas.
