Loncco Route Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa at 6:30 am to start the Loncco Route tour. You'll see natural landscapes and lesser-known places in Peru. Our first stop will be at the town of Quequeña to visit the Martyrs' Museum and the petroglyphs of Guayalopo and Curlaca, which are over 1500 years old.

During the tour, we'll share the story of Loncco, a traditional character from Arequipa. Our next destination is the Soncomarca Hill viewpoint, where you can enjoy views of the Arequipa terraces and visit the church of Quequeña. We will continue to Sogay, known for its picturesque square and ashlar houses overlooking the Yarabamba River.

Then, we'll visit the Uzuña lagoon in Polobaya, where you can engage in activities such as boating, kayaking, or sport fishing. You will have free time for lunch. Afterward, we will head to Mollebaya to explore its historical center and the communal batán, an old textile treatment machine. We’ll also stop by Characato and its square and church with water springs.

Next, we will visit prominent sites in Sabandía, including the church of the Virgen del Rosario and a 17th-century mill made of ashlar stone. The tour will conclude with a return to Arequipa, finishing near the Plaza de Armas at 5 pm.
