Pichu Pichu Bike Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa at the scheduled time and head to the top of the Pichu Pichu Volcano in a minibus. As we ascend, enjoy views of the area surrounding this extinct crater in the Cordillera Volcanica of southern Peru, which stands at an altitude of 18,182 feet (5,542 metres).

We will then switch to bikes, strap on our helmets and start cycling downhill for 19 miles (30 kilometres). The descent will take approximately 4 hours as we pedal through the Pichu Pichu mountain range.

During the ride, we will view other surrounding volcanoes, such as Misti and Chachani. The guide will share information about the various species of flora and fauna encountered along the way, with potential sightings of llamas or alpacas.

After completing the cycling part of the tour, we will return to Arequipa in the minibus, concluding our activity after 5 hours and 30 minutes.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the historic centre of Arequipa. Alternative meeting points will be provided for those staying outside this area.
