Discover the beauty of the Pillones Waterfalls and the intriguing rock formations of the stone forest of Imata on this tour from Arequipa.

Pillones Waterfall Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 6 and 6:30 am and set off on an excursion to the Pillones waterfalls, located at 4600 metres above sea level. On the way, we'll make stops in the villages of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi for breakfast.

At 10:30 am we will arrive at the point to begin a downhill hike for about an hour until reaching the waterfalls. Along the route, we will encounter various rocks shaped by water erosion. We will proceed carefully as it is a difficult access route.

Upon arrival at the waterfalls, you'll be able to take photographs and enjoy the local flora and fauna, as well as pose with the unique stone shapes around you.

After visiting the waterfalls, we will explore the Imata stone forest. A stop in the village of Imata will be made for lunch, after which we will begin our return journey to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5 pm.
