Pillones Waterfall Tour

Pick up from your hotel in Arequipa is scheduled between 6 and 6:30 am for an excursion to the Pillones waterfalls, situated at 4600 metres above sea level. There will be stops in Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi for breakfast on your own.

At 10:30 am, we will commence a downhill hike for about an hour to reach the waterfalls. Along the way, we will encounter various rocks shaped by water erosion, traversing this challenging route with caution.

Upon arrival at the waterfalls, you will have the opportunity to take photographs, enjoy the weather, and observe the local flora and fauna. Additionally, you can take fun photos mimicking the shapes of the stones.

After visiting the waterfalls, we will explore the Imata stone forest, a unique natural site.

A lunch break will follow in the village of Imata after which we will commence the return journey. Arrival back at your hotel in Arequipa is expected around 5 pm.

Pick up is included for hotels within a 1 kilometre radius of Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. If your hotel is outside this zone, you will need to go to the meeting point at Plaza de Armas at the specified time.
