Pillones Waterfall Tour

Pickup begins at your hotel in Arequipa between 6 and 6:30 am. The excursion to the Pillones waterfalls, situated at 4600 metres above sea level, includes stops in the villages of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi for breakfast. We will arrive at the starting point for a downhill hike by 10:30 am, proceeding for about an hour to reach the waterfalls. Along the way, we will encounter numerous water-eroded rock formations, crossing these areas with caution due to their challenging access.

Upon arrival at the waterfalls, you can take photographs, enjoy the warm weather, and observe the local flora and fauna. You can also pose with the stone formations resembling prehistoric animals and faces. After this, we will visit the Imata stone forest for an exploration of this unique environment.

A stop will be made in the village of Imata for lunch on your own before we start the return journey, arriving back at your hotel in Arequipa around 5 pm.

Pick up

Pickup is included for hotels within a 1 kilometre radius of the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. If your hotel is outside this area, you will need to meet at the Plaza de Armas at the specified time.
