Salinas Lagoon Day Trip + Pichu Pichu Bike Tour

Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arequipa at 6 am. We will travel to the Salinas Lagoon, situated over 4,300 meters (14,100 feet) above sea level, flanked by the Misti, Ubinas, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes.

We will stop halfway for breakfast before continuing to the salt desert and Salinas Lagoon, where you can observe endemic birds such as flamingos. After birdwatching, we'll visit the renowned water mirrors and provide you with 1 hour of free time to explore the thermal pools independently. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to interact with local wildlife, including llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas.

At approximately 12 noon, we will commence the second part of our trip with a 1-hour downhill biking experience through Pichu Pichu, taking in the area's volcanic landscape. The bike ride concludes at a local restaurant for a leisurely lunch. Following your meal, we will return to Arequipa, where you will be dropped off at your hotel at 4:30 pm.
