Discover two unusual places in the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca on our day trip to the Salinas and Yanorco Lagoons, including a visit to the Lojen Hot Springs.

Salinas & Yanaorco Lagoons Day Trip + Lojen Hot Springs

At 6 am, we'll meet at your hotel or on San Agustín Street and begin our journey. A stop will be made in Mariano Melgar for breakfast on your own.

We will arrive at the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, home to Misti, Pichu Pichu, and Chachani volcanoes. We will visit the Salinas Lagoon and its wetlands, along with observing endemic fauna such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and flamingos, as well as other migratory birds. A visit to the Moche Salt Flat will be included to capture perspective photos.

The next stop will be at the Lojen Hot Springs, where you can relax and enjoy the medicinal waters, which are between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius.

Afterward, we will head to the San José de Uzuña Dam, located near the Yanaorco Lagoon. Here, you will have free time for lunch, exploration, and kayaking.

Following our day, we will return to Arequipa and drop you off at your hotel in the city center or the Plaza de Armas between 4:30 and 5 pm.
