Located in the heart of Provence, close to the city of Arles, the Abbey of St. Peter in Montmajour is a significant Benedictine monument of medieval origin in southern France.

With your ticket to Montmajour Abbey, you can explore various rooms of this ancient monastery. Notable areas include the beautiful cloister of Montmajour, an example of Provencal Romanesque art, and the chapter house featuring a barrel vault, significant at the time of its construction.

1st October to 31st May: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm (last entry at 4 pm)1st June to 30th September: Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 6:30 pm (last entry at 5 pm)Holidays (24th and 31st December): 10 am to 4 pm.

Admission to Montmajour Abbey is free for:

Young people from the European Union between 18 and 25 years old.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

Admission is also free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31, and between November 1 and December 31. Similarly, the 3rd weekend of September is free.

To obtain free admission, visit the site’s ticket office and present a certifying document confirming eligibility.
