Cabo Frío Day Trip

A paradisiacal island, dreamy beaches and an old town await you on this day trip to Cabo Frío, one of the most beautiful destinations in Rio de Janeiro.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at the time indicated from your hotel in Búzios and from here we'll head south to one of the most popular coastal destinations in Rio de Janeiro: Cabo Frío.

Once we reach our destination, we'll stop for between 1 and 1.5 hours at one of its main beaches, known for their fine golden sand and turquoise waters. Get ready for your first dip!

We'll continue the tour by heading to the pier where boats depart for Ilha do Japonês, an unspoilt island where you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to dive, sunbathe or go hiking.

Next, we'll go to a restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch. You'll also receive 1.5 hours of free time to visit the Shopping Park Lagos shopping centre, where you can do some shopping if you wish.

To round off the experience, we'll take a stroll through the historic and cultural centre of Cabo Frío.

Finally, we'll make our way back to your hotel in Búzios, where we'll arrive between 8 and 9 hours after pickup.

Boat to the Ilha do Japonês

During the booking process, you can choose between two options: a day trip with a boat ticket or a day trip without a boat ticket. If you choose the latter, you will need to pay 15BRL per person in cash for the return boat ticket to Ilha do Japonês on the day of the activity.
