At the agreed time, we'll meet outside the Quinta do Tedo winery for a tour of the vineyards and olive groves in this historic estate.

This estate features 37 acres of class A vines, the highest rating by the Douro and Port Wine Institute. We'll walk through the vines while admiring the valleys and banks by the Douro and Tedo rivers.

Next, we will visit the 18th-century winery to learn about the winemaking rooms, the bottling process, and manual labeling. We will conclude the tour with a tasting of the Quinta do Tedo wines.

After this hour-long visit, we'll conclude this activity.

Tasting options

When making your reservation, you can choose from three tasting options:

Tedo tasting: 3 wines from D.O.P Douro, a reserve, a grand reserve, or a rosé Port, a Tawny wine, and an LBV.Special Tasting: 5 wines, crackers, and compote, including a D.O.P Douro, a reserve, a Tawny Port, an LBV, and a Vintage.Tawny Tasting: 4 exclusive wines with appetizers, crackers, and compote, including a Fine Tawny, a 10-year-old Tawny, a 20-year-old Tawny, and a Tawny from the 2005 vintage.
