Discover a traditional Colombian town in the Risaralda Department on our day trip to Marsella, where you will admire colonial architecture and visit an agricultural farm.

At 7 am, pick-up will be from your hotel in Armenia before driving to Marsella, originally known as "Villa Rica de Segovia".

On the route, view the coffee plantations of the Cauca River valley. In Marsella, visit an agricultural farm and enjoy a snack of patacones con hogao, made from local produce.

Next, tour the cacao plantations and fruit trees, with an opportunity to taste ripe fruit. Then, engage in an organic chocolate making workshop to extract, roast, and grind cocoa beans.

After allowing the chocolate to cool, prepare a cocoa drink to enjoy with a traditional lunch of sancocho made from chicken and vegetables grown on the farm.

Following lunch, head to the village's main square for a cup of Colombian coffee before strolling through Marsella to see landmarks such as the Mary Immaculate Church and the House of Culture, which houses a National Heritage museum.

Finally, visit the Botanical Garden and the José María Cemetery before returning to your hotel in Armenia, with drop-off scheduled for 4:30 pm.
