Adeje Coast Lava Tongue Snorkelling

On the Adeje Coast Lava Tongue Snorkelling activity, participants will explore the Southern Tenerife coast and seabed. The meeting point is at Marina del Sur in Las Galletas. After boarding the boat, the crossing will begin, offering views and information about the area.

The journey will include sailing through the Atlantic Ocean while observing the coastline and paying particular attention to Costa Adeje's lava tongues. Discussions will cover the volcanic processes that contributed to the island's distinct landscape.

Participants will wear snorkelling equipment to properly explore the lava tongues submerged underwater. The activity will highlight how the rocks indicate the historical interaction of lava from the island's volcanoes with the Atlantic Ocean.

In addition to lava formations, there will be an opportunity to observe marine flora and fauna, including learning to identify numerous endemic species of the Canary Islands.

The activity will conclude after 2 hours, returning to the starting point.
