Los Cristianos Kayak & Snorkel Trip

We'll meet at the indicated time on Avenida Juan Alfonso Batista, in front of Playa de Los Cristianos. Here, we'll have a brief theoretical class on paddling technique and safety on board the kayak. Afterward, we'll get on the kayaks for a 2-hour 30-minute aquatic adventure. Oars at the ready!

Paddling through the Atlantic Ocean, we'll follow the southern coast of Tenerife towards the Guaza cliffs, a protected nature reserve. From the kayaks, we'll admire the rocky landscape and discuss the biodiversity of this area.

We will then head to a location populated by sea turtles, where we'll stop for some snorkeling to explore the underwater environment.

After swimming, we'll continue towards the cave of Palm-Mar, a marine grotto formed by erosion. Following this, we'll paddle back to the starting point, concluding our 3-hour adventure.

Animal Sightings

The south of Tenerife is ideal for spotting sea turtles; however, sightings cannot be guaranteed due to the unpredictability of animals.

Who Can Take Part in the Activity?

Participants must be in good physical condition to row, maintain balance, and match the group's pace. Good health is essential, with no injuries that could worsen during the tour. Conditions such as dizziness, cramps, heat stroke, hypothermia, or dehydration will exclude participation due to safety concerns.
