Los Cristianos PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course

The PADI Open Water scuba diving course meets on the Los Cristianos promenade and lasts either 2 or 3 days, depending on the group size. The course comprises 1 confined water dive and 4 open water dives.

Day 1: Theory and practice in confined water

On the first day, classes start at 9:30 am with an instructor. Participants will learn the function of diving equipment, underwater communication, and basic safety regulations. After the theoretical session, practical training occurs in confined waters to familiarize participants with diving. The day concludes between 3 pm and 4 pm.

Days 2 and 3: Dives in open water

On the second and third days, sessions begin again at 9:30 am. Under instructor supervision, participants will learn to swim in open water and become independent divers. The course includes 4 dives reaching a depth of 60 feet (18 meters). During these dives, participants can observe South Tenerife's marine flora and fauna. A PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification will be awarded between 4 pm and 6 pm on the last day.
