Los Cristianos PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course

This course offers the opportunity to learn scuba diving, starting at the Los Cristianos promenade. The duration will be either 2 or 3 days, based on group size, including 1 dive in confined waters and 4 open water dives.

Day 1: Theory and practice in confined water

On the first day, we will meet at 9:30 am for the initial lesson with the instructor, covering the function of diving equipment, underwater communication, and basic safety regulations. Practical application will follow, where we will dive into confined waters to set up our equipment, empty the mask, and manage buoyancy. This session concludes between 3 pm and 4 pm.

Days 2 and 3: Dives in open water

On days two and three, we will reconvene at 9:30 am to learn swimming techniques in open water with an instructor until you gain independence. This will include a total of 4 dives reaching a maximum depth of 60 feet (18 metres). Participants will also experience South Tenerife's marine life. The course concludes with the presentation of the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification between 4 pm and 6 pm on the final day.
