Southern Tenerife Horseback Ride

At the selected time, we'll meet at the Xanadu riding center, located in the town of Arona. First, you'll meet the horses and we'll explain some safety rules that you'll have to follow during the activity.

How Does It Work?

You will have the option to choose between a 1-hour or 2-hour horseback ride when making your reservation. During the 1-hour ride, we'll explore the outskirts of a volcanic valley, enjoying the rich flora and fauna of the area. If you opt for the 2-hour ride, we'll continue on to a local beach, where we'll admire diverse plants and animals as well as a beautiful black sand inlet.

This horseback riding tour takes you around the equestrian center, revealing the most characteristic Canarian wildlife and vegetation found on the southern slope of the island. Expect to see cacti, tabaibas, and the renowned volcanic formations of Tenerife. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to view an ancient crater and an impressive river of solidified lava.

Finally, we'll return to the equestrian center, marking the end of our tour.
