Paiva River Canoeing & 4x4 Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Areinho river beach, on the banks of the Paiva River.

First of all, we'll briefly explain the safety rules that you'll have to follow throughout the day. We'll kit you out with the necessary safety helmets and life jackets, then we'll get into the boats!

Once in the canoes, we'll plunge full speed through the rapid waters of the Paiva River. You will take in the geography of this Northern region of Portugal.

The canoeing tour will last 2 hours. Afterward, we'll hop into powerful 4x4 vehicles to roam around the Aldeia da Paradinha area, notable for its geology in the Paiva Valley. Along the way, we'll make a few stops to see the Paiva Gorge, typical slate houses, and beehives.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point and end the tour after three hours of activities.
