Paiva River Canoeing & 4x4 Tour

At the indicated time we'll meet at the Areinho river beach, on the banks of the Paiva River.

First, we'll explain the safety rules to follow throughout the day. We'll provide the necessary safety helmets and life jackets, then we'll get into the boats!

In the canoes, we'll navigate through the rapid waters of the Paiva River. Along the route, you'll experience the geography of this Northern region of Portugal.

The canoeing tour will last 2 hours. Afterward, we'll hop into 4x4 vehicles to explore the Aldeia da Paradinha area, known for its intriguing geology in the Paiva Valley. We'll stop to see the Paiva Gorge, typical slate houses, and beehives.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point and conclude the tour after three hours of activities.
