Looking for a unique experience in Arouca? On this canyoning tour of the Paiva River, we will enjoy a day in Arouca Geopark, a natural spot unlike any other in Portugal!

Paiva River Canyoning Tour

At 9.30 am, we will meet in front of the Câmara Municipal de Arouca to start the canyoning activity along the Paiva River.

First, we will walk for 30 minutes until we reach the bank of the river. Once there, we will distribute the canyoning equipment and go over the basic safety guidelines for the tour.

After the safety briefing, we will enter the canyons of the Paiva River to rappel, swim, and dive. Participants can jump from heights of 7, 10, or 12 meters.

During the tour, we will encounter waterfalls, natural pools, and slides formed by water erosion.

We will conclude the canyoning activity at 3.30 pm back at the meeting point.
