Paiva River Canyoning Tour

At 9:30 am, we'll meet in front of the Câmara Municipal de Arouca to start this canyoning activity along the Paiva River. We have a day full of adventures ahead of us!

First, we'll walk for 30 minutes until we reach the bank of this river that runs through the Arouca Geopark. Once there, we'll distribute the canyoning equipment and briefly go over the basic safety guidelines to carry out the tour. Ready?

After absorbing these rules, we'll enter the canyons of the Paiva River to rappel, swim, and dive. Participants can jump from heights of 7, 10, or 12 meters.

During the tour, we'll encounter waterfalls, natural pools, and slides caused by water erosion.

Lastly, we'll conclude the canyoning activity at 3:30 pm back at the meeting point.
