Paiva River Rafting Tour

At 10:30 am, we'll meet at Rua do Barco to start this rafting activity on the Paiva River. Welcome to the Arouca Geopark!

Upon arrival at this natural site, we'll explain the itinerary of the rafting tour. Afterwards, we'll put on our life jackets and helmets, and head to the starting point of our rafting adventure.

Onboard the rafts, we'll speed down the white waters. During the tour, we'll pass key geological points in northern Portugal, including the Paiva Gorge, the Cascata das Aguieiras, and the Praia Fluvial do Vau.

Additionally, we'll raft near the famous 516 Arouca bridge, which is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, standing 175 meters over the Paiva River!

Finally, we'll conclude this rafting activity at 2:30 pm back at the meeting point.
