Paiva River Rafting Tour

At 10:30 am, we'll meet at Rua do Barco to start this rafting activity on the Paiva River. Welcome to the Arouca Geopark!

Once at the natural site, we'll briefly explain the rafting tour. Afterward, we'll put on life jackets and helmets, and head to the starting point of our rafting adventure in the Paiva River.

Onboard the rafts, we'll start speeding down the white waters. During the tour, we'll pass by key geological sites in this area of northern Portugal, such as the Paiva Gorge, Cascata das Aguieiras, and the beautiful Praia Fluvial do Vau.

We'll also raft near the famous 516 Arouca bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, which towers 175 meters over the Paiva River!

Lastly, we'll end this rafting activity at 2:30 pm back at the meeting point.
