Looking for adventure activities in Arouca? On this rafting tour on the Paiva River, we'll work out as we enjoy one of the unique locations in all of Europe. We'll also get to see the famous 516 Arouca bridge!

Paiva River Rafting Tour

At 10.30 am, we'll meet at Rua do Barco to start this rafting activity on the Paiva River, located in the Arouca Geopark. Once we arrive, we will explain the rafting tour details. Participants must wear life jackets and helmets before heading to the starting point of our rafting adventure.

Onboard the rafts, we'll navigate the white waters. During the tour, we'll pass by geological points of interest, including the Paiva Gorge, the Cascata das Aguieiras, and the Praia Fluvial do Vau.

We will also raft near the 516 Arouca bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, which stands 175 meters above the Paiva River.

Finally, we will conclude the rafting activity at 2.30 pm back at the meeting point.
