Paiva Valley Tour (3 hours)
At the selected time, we will meet on the banks of the Paiva River to start an exciting jeep tour of the Paiva Valley. The tour includes the guide's explanations about the vegetation and wildlife in the area and the famous wooden walkways of the Paiva Passages, a renowned hiking route in Northern Portugal. During the three-hour tour, we will have time to relax and stroll through the Paiva Valley, admire the Aguieiras Waterfall, and visit the Geological Interpretation Center of Canelas. The tour concludes with a return to the starting point.
Serra da Freita Tour (3.5 hours)
This tour begins at the scheduled time at the Parque de Arouca, where we’ll start a jeep tour through the plateau of the Serra da Freita, situated over 1000 metres (3,280 feet) above sea level. We will learn about the local geology, see Frecha da Mizarela, one of Portugal's largest waterfalls, and visit the Pedras Boroas and Pedras Parideiras Interpretative Centre. The tour will provide majestic views of the Arouca Valley and will end after 3.5 hours, returning to the meeting point in Arouca.
