Dazzle your senses with the volcanic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park with this guided tour of the south of Lanzarote.
South Lanzarote Excursion Itinerary
Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Lanzarote at the designated time, after which we will proceed to the Timanfaya National Park.
We will follow the 'Volcano Route' to witness its unique landscapes and experience geothermic demonstrations on Hilario islet, where the subterranean temperatures can reach 400 to 600 degrees centigrade. An optional camel ride is available for those seeking a different perspective of the park.
Next, we will visit La Geria, the local wine-growing area, known for the Malvasía grape, leading to the production of distinctive wines. A visit to a winery includes tasting a small glass to explore its flavours. Following this, there will be free time for lunch before continuing our journey through the south of Lanzarote.
The tour will also stop at El Golfo, home to the natural wonder, Charco de los Clicos, or "The Green Lagoon," known for its green coloration from algae.
We will return to the hotel areas in the evening after six to eight hours of exploration.
