Dazzle your senses with the volcanic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park with this guided tour of the south of Lanzarote, one of the most charming areas of the island.
South Lanzarote Excursion Itinerary
After pickup from your hotel in Lanzarote, we will proceed to Timanfaya National Park, a key highlight of the island. We will follow the 'Volcano Route' to observe the unique landscapes. Geothermic demonstrations at Hilario islet showcase the park's subterranean temperatures of 400 to 600 degrees Celsius. An optional camel ride is available for those wishing to experience the terrain in a different way.
Next, we will visit La Geria, the wine-growing region with volcanic soil ideal for the Malvasía grape. A winery tour will reveal the secrets behind Lanzarote wine, including a taste of its distinctive flavor. Following this, participants will have free time for lunch before continuing the tour.
The tour includes a stop at El Golfo, where we will see the natural phenomenon known as Charco de los Clicos, or "The Green Lagoon", which is colored green by algae.
We will return to hotel areas in the evening, concluding a six to eight-hour adventure.
