We will meet at the entrance of the Arehucas distillery at the chosen time to start a guided tour of its facilities.
During this tour, we will discover the rich history and tradition that has made this factory one of the most outstanding rum producers in Gran Canaria.
Established in Arucas at the end of the nineteenth century, this distillery has preserved its artisanal process to transform the cane juice into rum, expertly integrating the most advanced techniques.
Throughout the visit, we will explore the origins of Arehucas as we tour the various areas of the distillery.
The guide will explain in detail the process of rum production, taking us through the mill, the fermentation and distillation rooms, as well as the bottling plant.
To conclude our visit to Arehucas distillery, we will enjoy a tasting of various rums and liquors that we have observed in its process of elaboration.
The rums we will try have received prestigious international awards. The 12-year-old Ron Añejo Family Selection was awarded with the Gold Medal Excellence 2023, The 18-year-old Ron Añejo Family Selection obtained the Gold Medal 2023, and The 7-year Arehucas was highlighted with the Excellent category in the recent Peñín Guide.
