Description
Meet us at the Lake Duluti Registration Office, where we'll take a 4x4 vehicle to Lake Duluti, approximately 20 minutes from Arusha. Along the way, view the Great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival at this natural reserve in northern Tanzania, we will commence our hiking adventure along Lake Duluti. The journey includes insights into the lake's formation within a volcanic crater and guidance on the local flora and fauna.
During our excursion, we will identify various reptiles and avian species along our path. With over 130 bird species to observe, look for ospreys, cormorants, grey herons, egrets, and kingfishers. We will also enjoy views of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.
The lakeside walk will conclude at the meeting point, where a 4x4 will be ready to transport us back to Arusha approximately 4 hours after departure.
