Description
Meet at the Lake Duluti Registration Office to board a 4x4 for a 20-minute trip to Lake Duluti, with views of the Great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival at this natural reserve in northern Tanzania, the hiking adventure along Lake Duluti begins. Insights into the formation of this lake within a volcanic crater and guidance on local flora and fauna will be provided.
During the excursion, we'll identify various reptiles and avian species, including ospreys, cormorants, grey herons, egrets, and kingfishers. The hike offers views of both Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.
The lakeside walk concludes at the meeting point, with a 4x4 vehicle ready to transport us back to Arusha approximately 4 hours after departure.
