Day Trip to Mount Kilimanjaro

Would you like to explore the highest peak in Africa? Join us on this hiking tour of Mount Kilimanjaro along the famous Marangu route, led by an expert local guide.

Tour Highlights

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Arusha and set off toward Kilimanjaro National Park. After a 3-hour journey through the Tanzanian landscapes, we'll reach the Marangu Gate, one of the entrances to the park.

Embarking on foot, we'll ascend through a wooded area where you'll see monkeys. Throughout the hike, our local English-speaking guide will share knowledge about the surroundings.

After 3 hours of trekking, we'll reach Mandara base camp, at 2,740 meters (8,990 feet). We'll pause for about 30 minutes to rest and enjoy a picnic before descending back to Marangu.

Upon return, a vehicle will take you back to your hotel in Arusha. You will arrive at the lodge about 12 hours later, having experienced the stunning landscapes of Kilimanjaro.

What Do I Need?

On the day of the activity, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for hiking. Don't forget a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
