Climb to the top of Africa's most famous peak! The Marangu route will allow you to enjoy the unique environment while on the Mount Kilimanjaro Trek lasting 7 Days.

Mount Kilimanjaro Trek: 7 Days

The Marangu Route is the fastest and easiest way to climb to the top of Kilimanjaro. Most of the camps included in this route have running water and solar energy.

Day 1

At the appointed time, we'll be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the hotel in Arusha, where you can settle in and enjoy the views. You can take advantage to rest or inspect the area before the adventure begins.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll meet with the Marangu route guides to discuss the expedition details. We'll leave the hotel and head towards Marangu Gate. Along the eight-kilometre journey, we'll see colobus monkeys and eucalyptus forests. We will stop for lunch before continuing to Mandara Huts camp, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3

After breakfast, we'll leave the camp and walk for an hour through jungle clearings to reach a heather-filled path. Halfway, we will stop for lunch and enjoy views of the Mawenzi volcano. After travelling eleven kilometres, we will arrive at the Horombo Huts camp, where we'll have dinner and rest.

Day 4

We will prepare our trekking equipment for the third day. We'll cross paths and enjoy views of the volcanoes before taking a break for lunch. Then, we'll head to the Kibo summit, hiking for several hours until we reach the top. We'll rest at Kibo Huts camp, which has no running water.

Day 5

We will wake up at midnight to climb to Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Kilimanjaro. We'll hike four kilometres and stop at Gilman's Point to see the ice caps. At the summit, we will enjoy the sunrise and photograph the views before starting the descent back to Kibo Huts for dinner and rest at Horombo Huts for the night.

Day 6

We'll start the last part of the descent, crossing the moors to reach Mandara Huts for lunch. We will descend three kilometres to Mandara Gate, where a vehicle will take us back to the hotel in Arusha to rest.

Day 7

We'll have breakfast at the hotel and head back to the airport.
