Cilento Coast Hike

Follow in the footsteps of famous archaeologists on our Cilento Coast Hike, accompanied by the scent of the fragrant Ginestra del Cilento flower.

Cilento Coast Hike

At 9 am, we'll meet in front of the Ascea Railway Station to begin our hike along the Cilento Coast, a World Heritage Site in the Campania region, situated between the gulfs of Salerno and Policastro.

We will walk paths frequented by renowned archaeologists, including François Lenormant, and explore the ruins of the historic Telegraph Tower from the 16th century.

Along the route, we'll encounter the ginestra cilentina flowers, which are characteristic of this region. The hike will include traversing tunnels carved into cliffs and discovering hidden coves.

Additionally, we'll ascend to the Piano della Torre peak for panoramic views of the area. The hike concludes with our return to Ascea at 12 noon.
