Morigerati Oasis Excursion
After pickup at your hotel, we will travel from Ascea to the Morigerati Oasis, a nature reserve created by the WWF, showcasing a karst landscape.
Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided 3-kilometer walk through the nature reserve, which extends throughout Cilento National Park and the Vallo di Diano. The walk includes experiences with waterfalls, caves, springs, and a 17th-century mill.
Our guide will detail various features of the Bussento River, known for its phenomenon of vanishing and reappearing from underground, which creates notable natural sights like its famous grotto. The river's course resurfaces here, representing one of the most remarkable karst phenomena in Cilento.
We will then return you to your hotel in Ascea, concluding this four-hour excursion.
