Pompeii & Mount Vesuvius Excursion

After picking you up at your hotel in Ascea at 7 am, we will board a bus and head to the ancient city of Pompeii.

At this archaeological park, we will discover the history of one of the most visited sites, uncovered in 1748 after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Walking through ancient Pompeii, we will visit sites including the House of the Faun, Amphitheater, Forum of Pompeii, and the Temple of Apollo, where a bronze statue of a Greek god can be found.

After the visit, we will break for lunch (not included) at a local restaurant before heading to Mount Vesuvius.

We will climb to the top at 1,000 meters above sea level, following the path of Vesuvius National Park to the Gran Cono. From the crater, we will enjoy views of the Bay of Naples and the city.

Upon descending, we will return to Ascea by bus, arriving at your hotel around 7:30 pm, after twelve hours of exploring.
