Shore Excursion to Bethlehem and Jerusalem

We will pick you up at thecruise port of Ashdod and travel by bus toJerusalem, which takes about an hour.

Our first stop will beMount Scopus for a panoramic view of the Old City. After, we will visit theGardens of Gethsemane and theChurch of All Nations at the foot of theMount of Olives.

We will cross theKidron Valley to reach thehistoric center of Jerusalem. Here, we will visit theWailing Wall, the last remnant of the largest sanctuary from the kingdom of Judah, and learn its importance to Jews.

Next, we will walk down theVia Dolorosa, whereJesus walked to crucifixion, passing markets and theChurch of the Holy Sepulcher before having an hour offree time for lunch in Jerusalem.

After lunch, we will proceed toBethlehem. Upon arrival atManger Square, we will visit theChurch of the Nativity, aWorld Heritage Site traditionally regarded as the birthplace of Jesus and one of the oldest churches globally.

We will then return to theport of Ashdod after a nine-hour excursion.
