Description
On the day of this activity, we will meet at Riverside Cemetery, 53 Birch Street Asheville, at the specified time to begin the tour. This is the only ghost tour in the city that stops at a cemetery. As we stroll through the Riverside Cemetery, we will hear frightening tales about the famous authors buried there, including Thomas Wolfe and William Sydney Porter, who are said to haunt the area.
Next, we will explore the story of the mass murderer Will Harris from 1906. We will have the opportunity to view the receiving vault and possibly be photographed with spirits of German POWs. We will also remember Zelda Fitzgerald and her tragic death in the Highland Hospital fire in 1948, and learn about the Pink Lady at the Grove Park Inn, known for her presence since the 1920s.
Finally, we will uncover stories from the murder hotel and family reunions at the Basilica of St. Lawrence, as well as the mysterious Brown Mountain Lights.
After 1 hour, this Asheville Ghost Tour will conclude. Until next time!
