On the day of this activity, at the time indicated, we'll meet at Riverside Cemetery, 53 Birch Street Asheville, to begin this tour. This is the only ghost tour in the city that stops off at a cemetery, ensuring a unique experience. Ghosthunters, let's go!
As we stroll through the Riverside Cemetery, we will hear some frightening tales. We’ll recount the lives of famous authors buried here, including Thomas Wolfe and William Sydney Porter, who are said to haunt this graveyard.
We will continue our ghost tour around Asheville, learning about the infamous mass murderer Will Harris and the chance to see the receiving vault, along with the possibility of encountering spirits of German POWs.
Next, we will discuss the life and tragic death of Zelda Fitzgerald in the Highland Hospital fire in 1948. At the Grove Park Inn, we'll hear about the friendly spirit known as the Pink Lady, who has wandered the halls since her death in the 1920s.
Lastly, we will uncover events at the murder hotel, family reunions at the Basilica of St. Lawrence, and the Brown Mountain Lights, mysteries that have puzzled scientists for years.
