Are you a music lover visiting Asheville, North Carolina? If so, this tour of the city's musical history is perfect for you. Dive into Asheville's musical side!
Description
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the scheduled time at Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville from where this exciting tour will begin. Once we're all together we'll set off.
On this tour, we'll learn about the former and current artists from Asheville, including those inducted into the regional and national Hall of Fame like Fred Foster and Roberta Flack. We'll visit local venues where acts perform, such as the ExploreAsheville.com Arena, which has a capacity of 7,200.
We will make 2 historical and informative stops. The first is at the Citizen Vinyl store on O'Henry Avenue, a modern vinyl production facility with a café and store. Participants will receive a discount coupon valid for future purchases. Citizen Vinyl was recently recognized as "Best Bar in America" by Esquire.
The last stop will be at the Moogseum, which celebrates Bob Moog and his Moog Synthesizers. Another discount code will be provided for continued exploration of the Moogseum.
After a duration of 1 hour, the Asheville Music History Tour will conclude. Until next time!
