Arroyos y Esteros (6 hours)

At 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel for a trip to Arroyos y Esteros. This location is ideal for birdwatching and experiencing Paraguay's natural beauty. An ornithology expert will accompany you through various ecosystems.

You will observe birds native to the wetlands and grasslands, including wood and maguari storks, jabirus, Brazilian teals, white-faced and black-bellied whistling ducks, along with numerous egrets and herons.

You'll also encounter IBA birds, such as the bearded tachuri, odd-tailed tyrant, marsh seedeater, and dusky-throated seedeater. After 4 hours, we will return to your hotel in Asunción.

Arroyos y Esteros + San Bernardino (9 hours)

We will pick you up at 6 am and head to Arroyos y Esteros for birdwatching. After the morning activity, we will travel to San Bernardino.

In San Bernardino, you will have 1 hour of free time for food before proceeding to the main birdwatching site, the Yapacarí National Park, to observe the birds in the area.
