Arroyos y Esteros (6 hours)

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7 am to travel to Arroyos y Esteros, ideal for birdwatching and exploring Paraguay's natural scenery. An ornithology expert will accompany you through the area's ecosystems.

During the trip, observe birds in wetlands and grasslands, including wood and maguari storks, jabirus, Brazilian teals, white-faced and black-bellied whistling ducks, egrets, and herons.

You will also encounter IBA birds such as the bearded tachuri, odd-tailed tyrant, marsh seedeater, and dusky-throated seedeater. After 4 hours, we will return to your hotel in Asunción.

Arroyos y Esteros + San Bernardino (9 hours)

Picked up at 6 am, we will proceed to Arroyos y Esteros for birdwatching. Following the morning activity, we will visit San Bernardino.

Upon arrival, enjoy 1 hour of free time for refreshments. After regrouping, we will travel to the main birdwatching site, Yapacarí National Park, to observe the giant lake and learn bird spotting techniques.
