Spend a day discovering the rich culture of Paraguay with this Asunción Museum Tour. You'll learn all about the tradition and history of the country.

Asunción Museum Tour

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start touring the most important museums of Asunción.

We'll drive to our first stop, the Cultural Centre of the City Carlos Colombino Manzana de la Rivera, a complex of nine houses showcasing 18th-century architecture, including the Casa Viola, which houses the Museo Memoria de la Ciudad.

The next destination is the Museo Casa de la Independencia (Independence House Museum), a building used for secret meetings by the independence leaders.

We'll then visit the Centro de Artes Visuales-Museo del Barro (Visual Arts Centre-Museum of Clay), featuring multi-ethnic art, known as the Mud Museum.

Next, we will move to the Museum of the Central Railway Station, home to the first train in South America, along with original locomotive plans and photographs.

Finally, we will visit the main painting galleries in Asunción to appreciate and purchase the best of Paraguayan art.

After 4 hours of learning about the culture, the tour will conclude with your drop off at your hotel.
