Golden Circuit Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in downtown Asunción at 8 am, we'll set off to discover the authentic Paraguayan culture along the fabulous Golden Circuit.

The tour will begin by learning about the Christian legacy in Paraguay. In San Lorenzo, we'll visit the Jesuit baroque church and in Yaguarón the church of San Buenaventura. The greatest attraction will be in Caacupé, the spiritual capital of the country.

The tour will continue to San Bernardino, where you will learn about its German origins. Here, you will have free time to explore before a 25-minute boat ride on Ypacaraí Lake.

We'll have a midday stop for a buffet dinner. Afterward, we'll explore traditional Paraguayan handicrafts.

Next, we will visit Itauguá for traditional lace, followed by Areguá, where you can browse the largest artisan market in the country. The last stop is Luque, known for gold and silver filigree jewelry. You will have free time for shopping.

We will conclude the trip and return to the capital, dropping you off at your hotel in Asunción at 6 pm.

Historic Gold Circuit

If you are passionate about history, you can select the Historic Gold Circuit when booking. This will combine Paraguayan history, tradition, and art with breathtaking landscapes.

We will start by visiting Sapucai, known for its old train station and colonial houses. Next, we'll stop at Yaguarón to visit its church of San Buenaventura, followed by a walk in Pirayú to explore its history.

We will arrive at Cerro León Camp to learn about the War of the Triple Alliance, ending in San Bernardino and Ypacaraí Lake.

The tour will conclude back in Asunción at 6 pm.
