Jesuit Missions Excursion

At 12:01 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Asunción to begin the journey to the Jesuit Missions of Trinidad and Jesús de Tavarangue. You'll learn about the history of these Guaraní villages founded in the 17th century.

We'll board a private vehicle for a six-and-a-half-hour drive to the reductions. On the way, we'll stop for breakfast.

We'll arrive at the Jesuit Missions of Santísima Trinidad del Paraná, the largest and best-preserved Guaraní reduction, featuring a main square and the largest temple among the Jesuit reductions, declared a World Heritage Site in 1993.

Next, we will visit the missions of Jesús de Tavarangüé. One of the largest churches was initiated here but was not completed due to the Jesuit expulsion in 1768 by Charles III of Spain.

Afterward, we'll go to Encarnación for a buffet lunch or a full menu at the Hotel Papillón de Bella Vista. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the Costanera, shop, and relax at San José beach.

At 6 pm, we'll conclude the excursion and return to Asunción, with hotel drop-off scheduled for 11 pm.
