With this excursion to Ybycui National Park you'll travel to this ecological reserve to learn about its biodiversity and history. We'll also visit the La Rosada Museum.

Ybycui National Park + La Rosada Museum Tour

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Asunción for a two-hour drive to our destination.

We'll arrive at Ybycui National Park, a protected area in Paraguay that preserves more than 5000 hectares of subtropical rainforest. We'll start a hiking route where we'll appreciate the biodiversity of its wildlife.

Along the way, we'll find different trails that end at streams and waterfalls with clear waters, where you can take a refreshing dip. We'll make a stop for you to have a snack and lunch surrounded by nature.

Afterwards, we'll continue our route to the La Rosada Museum, located inside the park. There we'll learn about the history of this old iron foundry that was devastated during the War of the Triple Alliance. It was one of the first metal industries in America, later rebuilt on original plans and foundations, and declared a National Monument.

After learning about its history, we'll return to Asunción to drop you back at your hotel at 4 pm.
