2 Day Abu Simbel Excursion

See the temples of Abu Simbel on a two-day tour, experiencing the magnificence by night.

Itinerary

Day 1

After hotel pickup, we travel from Aswan southward to Lake Nasser for a guided tour of Abu Simbel. The tour includes the Great Temple of Ramses II, featuring large sculptures of the Pharaoh. We will also visit the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to Ramses II's favorite wife, rich with hieroglyphs. You will have free time for lunch before the Abu Simbel Night Show, where the illuminated monuments are accompanied by music narrating the history of Ancient Egypt.

Following the show, we proceed to the nearby Seti Abu Simbel Hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Hotel subject to availability, but an alternative of similar standard will be offered.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will commence our return to Aswan, arriving between 12 and 1 pm.

Minimum Group Size

The tour requires a minimum of 2 participants.

Holiday Periods

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made from December 20 to January 2 (Christmas) and during Holy Week.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup at hotels, hostels, and apartments in Aswan. If your accommodation is on one of the listed islands in Aswan, pickup will be at these meeting points:

Western Aswan Island (Gharb Aswan): West Bank Ferry Terminal.Elefantina Island (Guizirit Alfantin): Kornish Al Nile KFC or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil): West Bank Ferry Terminal.

If accommodations are outside the city center or unlisted islands, please go to one of the designated meeting points.
