2 Day Abu Simbel Excursion

See the temples of Abu Simbel on a two-day tour, and be fascinated by the majesty by night. Ancient Egypt in all its splendour!

Itinerary

Day 1

Having picked you up at your hotel, we'll leave Aswan heading southwards. Once we arrive at the banks of Lake Nasser, we'll take a guided tour of Abu Simbel to visit the Great Temple of Ramses II with its colossal sculptures.

We'll also visit the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the wife of Ramses II, featuring numerous hieroglyphs. After the tour, you'll have free time for lunch, followed by the Abu Simbel Night Show, where the monuments are illuminated with projections and music narrating the history of Ancient Egypt.

Following the show, we'll head to the nearby Seti Abu Simbel Hotel for dinner and overnight stay, subject to availability.

Day 2

After breakfast at our hotel, we'll begin the return journey to Aswan, arriving between 12 and 1 pm.

Minimum Group Size

The minimum group size for this tour is 2 people.

Holiday Periods

From December 20 until January 2 (Christmas) and during Holy Week, it will not be possible to receive a refund if a cancellation is made.

Pickup

This activity includes pickup at hotels, hostels and apartments in Aswan city. If your hotel or boat is located on one of the following islands in Aswan, we'll collect you at the listed meeting points:

For accommodation on the Western Aswan Island: Pickup from the West Bank Ferry Terminal.For accommodation on Elefantina Island: Pickup from Kornish Al Nile KFC or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.For accommodation on Suhil Island: Pickup from the West Bank Ferry Terminal.

If your hotel or boat is not located in the city centre or on the mentioned islands, please proceed to one of the meeting points.
