3 Night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor

No trip to Egypt would be complete without a cruise on the Nile. This 3-day cruise leaves from Aswan and arrives in Luxor, the ancient capital of Thebes.

3 Night Nile Cruise

Day 1: Aswan

Pickup will be from Aswan airport, train station, or your hotel, followed by transfer to the cruise boat, which includes full room and board. The day includes a visit to the Temple of Philae and a local perfumery.

Day 2: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu

After breakfast, there is an optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel. Then, you will sail the Nile, arriving at Kom Ombo Temple at sunset. After visiting the temple, the boat will continue to Edfu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Edfu – Esna – Luxor

After breakfast, visit Edfu Temple, then continue to Esna to cross the floodgate. In Luxor, you will visit the Luxor and Karnak temples, separated by the Avenue of the Sphinxes, and spend the night anchored in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor

After breakfast and checkout, depart around 6 am for nearby necropolises, including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. The tour concludes around 4:30 pm with drop-off at Luxor airport or train station.

Boats & Categories

There are two categories of boats to choose from:

5* Standard: MS Pioneer II, MS Mirage, among others.5* Premium: Royal Esadora, MS Zeina, and others.

The specific boat will be assigned a week before the activity. Arrival times may affect your itinerary for premium category bookings.

Price Info

The price is per person in a double room. Solo travelers will incur a supplement.Groups of three will receive a double room with an extra bed.Bookings before July 1, 2024, exclude taxes and tips, payable at the destination.

Changes to the Itinerary

Activities may change order based on the boat, but all will be included. Additional visits can be reserved on board.

Holiday Periods

No refunds will be issued for cancellations during December 20 – January 2 and Holy Week.

Pickup

Pickup from accommodations on islands has specific meeting points related to location. For hotels not centrally located, proceed to a listed meeting point.
